This mod is set in the fantasy world of the Forgotten Realms, and is inspired by the European-style continent of Faerun.Mod Features
* Choose from 25 Civilizations reflecting Faerun’s major kingdoms: Humans, Elves, Orcs, Dwarves.
* Play on any map or map script with any settings.
* Add custom fantasy music with the Faerun Soundtrack.
* Includes four Faerun scenario maps with true start locations for civs.
* Random events allow you to vanquish powerful foes and reap huge rewards.
* Recruit up to three Heroes to fight for you, including Rangers, Druids, Wizards, Assassins and Paladins. Heroes have special abilities and grow in power as they gain levels.
* Learn powerful spells in the new Schools of Magic that replace the old policy branches. Spells enhance Clerics’ and Wizards’ abilities as well as provide civilization-wide bonuses.
* Found one of 12 new Deity Cults that replace religions. Worshipping a Deity confers special abilities on followers, but can also have an effect on diplomatic relations.
* Includes a completely new technology tree, many new buildings, and over twenty new unit types including Mages, Sorcerers, Clerics, Dragons, Ogres, Orcs, Giants, Wolves and Gnomes.

* Updating your mod version will generally corrupt saved games! Only update to a new version if you are willing to lose previous saves.
* Faerun will automatically disable BNW and any other DLC you may have.
